Glad to Be Back!
Glad to be back online! I’ve been focusing on work and moving, so I haven’t had as much time to focus on creating art (let alone posting it). I’ve been struggling with my mental health, getting properly diagnosed, and figuring out the best treatment plan. Everything isn’t totally sorted out yet, but things are on the right track and I’m feeling more like myself again. I’m happiest when art is central to my purpose in life, and treated as a priority, so I plan to be more consistent in my creative practice moving forward. Painting and collaging have brought so much solace and contentment to my life lately, and being able to express myself nonverbally is essential to me feeling understood.

I adopted a stray dog, Vanna, who gave birth to one healthy puppy: Lucy. Now they are both a part of the family! We’ve moved back in with my parents for the time being, so it’s a pretty full house. It’s been great to have the extra support from my family, and hopefully it helps me to pursue my passions in a more feasible way.

I have downsized and curated my BJD collection extensively. I now have 10 resin dolls that are precious to me, including sculpts in a variety of aesthetic styles. I also have other dolls that aren’t BJDs, like fashion dolls and toys. I don’t plan to add any more dolls to my collection for the time being, and instead want to focus on actually engaging in my hobby with the dolls I already have. I’ve been enjoying sewing clothes for them, but I have a lot to learn about garment construction and pattern drafting.

Thanks for being part of the journey! More to come soon.
